In the Orchard Pediatric Physical Therapy, LLC is a pediatric physical therapy clinic serving children and families in the greater capital area and lakes region. Located on 5.24 acres of land owned by Caley and her husband John, it provides the perfect opportunity for children to build their confidence and improve their ability to independently engage with a natural learning environment. Caley grew up here, ultimately purchasing the property from her parents in 2018—bringing something new and special to the property has been the most exciting experience. The new construction, stand alone clinic was finished in January of 2023 and the outdoor treatment space is located on Caley’s favorite spot on the property. The focal point of the outdoor space is a lovingly constructed cedar playground built around a grove of maple trees that provide beautiful canopied shade during the hotter months and splendid color during the fall. She enjoys the spot so much, she’s planning on tucking a patio in against one of the stone walls so that parents can also enjoy the space as their children learn and play.
Caley has come to find that through development of meaningful relationships with children and their families, she can affect change in a child’s function and quality of life. She takes particular pride in taking the time to get to know each individual child, their needs, their way of communicating and learning, and their cues. Taking the time to create that relationship is what her clients’ families report they appreciate the most over the period of care. Combining individualized care and a stimulating natural outdoor environment will help Caley achieve the best possible growth for your child.
